Dad!!!

This is my Dad...
He has more eyes than my mom and some very prickly skin on his face but he wears the coolest shorts so I guess that I'll keep him around to make sure that Mom does not try to dress me up in anything too silly...
One thing about him is that you would think that he had never seen a baby before the way that he always is holding me...
Mom tells me that he does it because he is such a proud Dad!
I told her that he could hold me as much as he wants just as long as he starts to get quicker about changing my diapers, I hate having a cold butt!!!

Mom!!!

This is me and my mom...
When I first met her I was a little bit weary because she kept on looking at me with this strange face, turns out it was only the drugs!
Since I have come home we have really started to bond...
She is constantly giving me hugs and kisses & feeding me the most delicious milk...
She loves to talk to me, even though some times I have no idea what she is trying to say...
Dad says that this is normal, and just to smile, so I do and she seems happy.
I think that I am starting to figure her out, &
I am looking forward to some really fun times with her!!!

My Room...

This is where I live, at least this is where I am supposed to live...
I am still a little scared of being all alone (not to mention the monsters & giant sized leaves),
so for now Gramps and Bubba Sue got me a new bed that is right next to Mom and Dads...
Mom and Dad keep on telling me that I am going to have to move back into my own room some day, but for now I think that they like having me right next to them as much as I like being there.

The New and Improved Berger Fam!

After 14 hours of labor...
21/2 hours of pushing...
1 emergency c-section...
4 days of hospital food (& McDonalds)...
and 5 nights in the Special Care Nursery...
we were ready to get home!
And they were ready to get rid of us as well, at least they were ready to get rid of 2 of us...
The other stole the nurses hearts from day 1.
Thank you to the entire staff of Abbott North Western Hospital, especially the Special Care Nursery you were all awseome!
